



Charity -Whitepod makes financial contributions to local associations and charities established to safeguard the local environment and restore landmarks. Details available at the camp.
Energy -Electricity is limited to the Alpine chalet. The pods are heated by wood stoves and lit by petrol lamps.
Guest numbers -We accommodate a maximum of 20 guests at any one time.
Local economy -We draw strongly on local suppliers and expertise for all our goods and services, using local produce wherever possible.
Local touch -We run a small grocery store for the local residents. Maps and equipment hire are also available for locals to participate in our snowshoeing activities.
Raising awareness of the local environment -We are keen to share our knowledge and understanding of the local environment. You will find many books about important local features in the Alpine chalet and the team is always keen to share their local knowledge.
Recycling -The furniture chosen for our pods is either made from recycled materials or manufactured with sustainable Swiss wood. All the waste generated by the camp is recycled in accordance with local authority guidelines.
Water -The consumption of water is limited by centralising bathroom facilities in the Alpine chalet. During individual stays, sheets and towels are changed on request only.
